Want to learn to sew?
This is an after school or weekend course for kids!
We will teach you everything you need to get started.. You’ll learn how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin, adjust
tension, change needles, and troubleshoot. You’ll sew straight lines, turns, curves and backstitching. Also, you’ll
learn about sewing techniques like seam allowances, grain lines, pinning, and ironing for projects. After this class you’ll
be set for any of our make it: workshops.
If you are a true beginner this course is prerequisite to all other make
it: workshops for kids and kids open workshop time

Wanna learn to sew but don't have time to do a whole session? Wanna just come in and test the waters

This quick 2 hour workshop will get
you started and teach you the basics that you'll use in our other make it workshops!
You will learn: the names to the parts of the sewing machine, what they do and practice using them.
You will learn to thread the machine and a bobbin. You will practice
different stitches used
